5/24
You may have heard that Chase has a “policy” known as the “5/24 rule”. We put policy in quotations because it is not a published policy by Chase, but it is one that they have used to restrict applicants from approvals on certain cards. This “rule” states that anyone that has opened 5 or more credit cards across ANY bank within the past 24 months will be denied from new Chase cards. There are some exceptions, as this hasn’t been published by Chase directly.
